TINY TEDDY BEAR ZUCHONS
WELCOME TO OUR REFERENCES PART 2 PAGE

References Part 2...
Below are our excellent references, some with pictures. You will see we have quite a few fur parents choosing us again for a little brother or sister, or a new baby for a friend or family member. We think it speaks volumes about us, our dogs, and our puppy's.

We are always adding new updates we receive, its a really great way to learn about our pups first hand, additional to what we ourselves say about the Zuchon, and they are so enjoyable to read. Some family's below have more than one update under their hi lighted name. When we add to a family's comments the newest update goes on the top. So to read the family's full story in the correct order read from the bottom up.

Michael & Sylvia and their pup Yogi...

June 20th 2011

Hi Corinne great meet you and yogi and her parents. She is so cute, and makes us laugh a lot.

June 29th

Hi Corrine!.... we have one of the best weeks of our lives with little Yogi!
She is the most calm, lovely, fun, and loveable little "person" that we have ever known!
She had a little car sickness that first day,... and then a little two days later going to the vet,... but since then, she has been fine (I've been taking her a few blocks daily while stroking and encouraging her,...now she seems fine)
She had her second set of shots and a check up.... came out a star (and the vet even commented on what a fantastic pup she was!)
We waited until last night to crate train her (we wanted her to have a firm base of love and comfort before we did it) ... and she only whimpered a few times,.. and with the "Caesar tip" of holding her by the neck skin and putting her firmly into the den... she stopped immediately... and we all had a great night of sleep!!
She remains trained for the "pine tray".. but mainly goes on the walks outside (she gets at least three per day) ....we play daily with her toys (she loves Mr. Squeaky Carrot the most)... and cuddle her as often as possible...
... to sum it all up... we LOVE HER TO BITS !!!!
Thank you again for raising such a lovely little girl,.. for all of your helpful information,.. and we will certainly drop by one day for her to say hello!
big hugs,
Sylvia and Michael

June 30th

WELL!... I am such a smart and wonderful puppy (my mommy keeps telling me so!) ... that I was kennel trained in one night,... NEVER have accidents in the house,.... and can keep myself entertained with my fun toys (especially after I am a little tired with all the attention I get on our walks up Main st!)
According to my mommy and daddy,... I am the best puppy in the whole wide world!!! (not that I'm bragging)
Most of all,... I am funny, and huggy,... and full of love...
So, I am sending some to you!

Don & Judy and their pup Tucker...

June 16th 2011

Hi Corinne,  Well we now have a happy, playful puppy.  He is a joy to have in our home.  He is eating, drinking, playing, wagging his tail and using his litter box.  He was very sad for a few days but now I think he has completely adjusted to our home.  I know you will be glad to hear that he is happy again.  We will send you more pictures as he grows.  Judy

June 22nd

Hi Corinne,  Tucker is doing great.  He is such fun.  He feels totally at home now and we are truly enjoying him.  He really does have a great personality.

July 12th

Hi Corinne, here are a couple of pictures following Tucker’s first grooming.  He was a brave boy and did really well.  Tucker is a lot of fun and has a great personality.  He starts his puppy classes on Saturday – we will see how that will go.

Mike & Michelle's pup Toby...

June 26 2011

Hi Corinne!

I hope all is well with you. I wanted to send you an update on Toby sooner but just haven't had the chance. He is doing so well and we love him sooooo much!!!  He's really settled in now and I think feels right at home. He's such a sweetie! He loves Dale and Dale is starting to show more interest in Toby now which is really good.  He absolutely loves playing outside too.
Thanks so much for such a wonderful little bundle of joy!!
I'll attach a few pictures for you to see him. Take care and I'll send you some more pictures soon.
Thanks again,
Michelle

July 1st
Hi Corinne,
You're welcome! We'll send more pictures again soon.
Thanks for the grooming advice, I'm thinking now I don't want Toby's hair short especially right now while he's still a puppy. I think I would be really upset if he was shaved or something. I've trimmed his eyes but I'm not sure what to use that is safe, I've used mini scissors while he's being held but I'm afraid I'll cut him or poke him in the eyes. What do you use for trimming their hair?
Thanks so much again, you were so right ... he is such a character! LOL
TTYS
Michelle :)

July 6th
Hi Corinne ...
I've done as you said and it works pretty good so thank you. I went and bought some scissors with rounded edges at pet smart and they're really good. I trimmed the fur around his paws and clipped his nails ... he was so good and doesn't care at all when his feet are touched. It's so awesome that you got him used to all of that. Our next purchase will be tooth brush and tooth paste for Toby ... lol!
Thanks again for your help. Talk to you soon ... enjoy the sun!
Michelle :)

Alicia, Stuart and their pup Murphy Brown...

Oct 21, 2011

I am writing to hear if your available puppy is still available. On your website it shows you having one little guy left. My mother and father just lost their
bichon shitzu, Dexter after 10 years. He died due to colon cancer and there was nothing they could do to save him. It has been very hard on them as he was
very much their "child" now that all of us have left home and they are ready for a new little guy to enter in their lives. My mom just loves being a "Grandma" to our Murphy Brown and is coming out in two weeks for our wedding and if you have a little guy available would love to welcome him home to her family. (If he needed to be picked up early we would absolutely pick him up as soon as possible). Please do let me know.

On another note, thought to fill you in on Murphy Brown. He has successfully graduated both beginning and intermediate puppy school and has a ton of
personality. He is obsessed with the off leash park and is a great listener and great companion for walks of any length. We are looking forward to our first
Christmas together and he is even coming on the honey moon with us. (Heading camping in a cabin up island to storm watch). We honestly can't get enough
of him and are pretty sure he is the most spoiled little dog alive. We even have his 1st birthday planned hahha.
I have attached a few photos of Murphy :]
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Alicia, Stuart and Murphy.

Rachel's family & her little Moka...

July 19, 2011

Hi Corinne,
Just wanted to give you an update on our lovely puppy! She is getting cuter and funnier everyday! We love her so much! The vet was amazed at how calm she was when she got her second set of shots, she made us so proud! She runs up and down the stairs and we find her playing with toys in her crate sometimes! Shes already been to Victoria and Seattle and was wonderful in a hotel. She's an amazing puppy and whenever we take her anywhere it takes twice as long because everyone is asking about her! She can sit stay come and sometimes lie down!My Uncle's neighbour bought her brother Tucker after my aunt and uncle told them how great Moka is! Thanks for giving us such a wonderful little puppy! Here are some pictures about how big she is getting!

Thanks so much,
The "B" Family

July 9th
Hi it’s me “MR. KASEY”…..himself!!!
I am very happy in my new home.  My mom and dad love me soooooooo much!!!!  We have been traveling a lot …on the ferry, then on the winding roads, then in different motels and I am a very, very good boy!!!!  My mom brings my litter box and it works every where I go. Oh,  I also go outside on my lead.  I am not allowed out, just a little, as I get my final shots on July 18th and then I can venture out a bit more.  I am gaining weight…by now I think I weigh 8 lbs.  How big do you think I will be?  Mom likes the 10 – 11 lbs area?  Dad would like me to be the MACHO MAN.  I play all the time, I can sit, come, stay, go down and I’m great on the lead.  It took a while but I finally like to go with mom on the lead (only in special areas).

A funny story about my mom and me.  It was my bed time and mom took me into the bedroom and told me to go to bed in my little crate (which I love)….BUT…..  I wouldn’t go into my crate, I looked at mom, then I barked, and looked at mom again, and again, and again and then looked into my crate (but I wouldn’t go inside).  I did this around 5 times in a row and my mom FINALLY GOT MY MESSAGE!!!  She went to the dryer and pulled out my fuzzy yellow duck that I sleep with (can you believe she had washed my duck) She put the duck in my crate and I went in and went to sleep.    Sometimes it takes mom a while to understand me….and me to understand her….BUT….we are having so much fun.  My mom sees that the little girl is still available and I would love to have her come and live with us….but I will have to wait until maybe next year for a brother or sister.
Hi to you and I just want you to know that mom and dad are so happy I am with them.  It is like I have been here forever!!!
Love,  Kasey

June 6th
Hi it’s me again.  Kasey.  I know you have so many other families that you talk to too…but I just had to share a few things.
I saw the Vet a few days ago and she loved me too and wanted to know who the breeder was….so mom just happened to have your card.  She thinks I’m ‘m in perfect very smart and .  I’m in perfect health.  I went through the whole exam without a whimper (even when she stuck that thing up my butt)  WHATEVER FOR????
My mom is worried that I’m eating too much.  The Vet said two tablespoons 3 times a day…(Mom gives me a little bit more)…because I am really hungry.  I poop and piddle just like a good boy…but I do like my food and of course the occasional treats. I will sit when my mom tells me too.  Today, I wanted more food after my feeding and mom didn’t give me more.  Soooooooooo….I jumped and scratched on the plastic food box that holds my food.  That didn’t work either!!!   Sooooooooo….I picked up my small plastic food dish and brought it to her.  That did it for sure!  She gave me a little bit more and I am happy!  I weighed 4 ½ pounds at the Vet and mom weighed me at home and says I weigh a whopping 5 lbs (I think a little bit more now).
Anyway, when you have time and I know you are busy…could you let me know about the food please.  My mom still checks your website to see how everyone is doing.  I am very, very HAPPY here!  Thank you for approving of my mom and dad.
Love, Kasey     XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX                      OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

May 29th
Hi,
It’s me….MAX….MAC…and finally, officially my name is Kasey!!!  So, Hi again, it’s me Kasey.  I am a very happy boy living here with my new mom and dad.  They think I am the most wonderful, cute, smart, funniest dog in the world. They are in love with me!!!  How about that?  I am such a good boy!  I have so many toys to play with and guess what????..I own this house…it is mine all over.  Wow!!  I run and jump and bark when I see myself in the reflection of the glass.  I am very funny!!!  I also sleep through the night now and my mom is so proud of me.  Mom and I take our afternoon naps together.  I sure do like the treats you sent with me, mom wants to know the name of the long rubbery orange ones and the round hard ones……PLEASE…..Don’t tell mom but I don’t like her cookies.  I don’t want to hurt her feelings but YUK!
How is everybody??  I miss all of you…but …I am having so much fun here with my new family.  I think I have the litter box thing solved???  I am not to sure about the big outdoors but I’m learning and smelling and…………etc.
WHAT A GREAT LIFE!!!!
I love you,
Love,
Kasey (himself)

Alison & her little Lucy...

July 1, 2011
You are very welcome!  I know they aren't that great - if I get any better ones, I'll forward them.  FYI - I took her to the vet the other day & she's up to 4.8lbs!
My sister-in-law just sent me a note to ask whether you had any pups left. I think she is quite taken with Lucy.  Please let me know if you do. I'd love to have another in the family!

Hello,
Just wanted to take a moment and update you on Tobey.  He's doing great and is a really sweet little dog.  Did a great job at pupply classes and has a really nice disposition.  I've had lots of compliments on him and love him dearly.  (Housebreaking is still challenging though!).  Sorry I haven't sent you any pictures or contact you sooner.  Busy summer!
thanks so much for the great addition to our family!

Dianna, Ben and their pup Muggles...

May 23 2011
Hi Corinne,
Just thought that you'd like an update on Muggles to hear how she's doing. I know I'd be curious if I was you. Lol. Muggles is doing well. She was pretty shy at first but yesterday she started warming up to us and even chased us around the back yard for an hour. No worries. The backyard is private and safe from other dogs and such. The lil play really tired her out, which was EXCELLENT because it meant I can finally have an almost full night of sleep. She cried all night the first night but the second night was a little better and as mentioned, yesterday was the best. We've taken her out to do her business and she's fine with grass. A little apprehensive at first, but she found that it was fine. She's super attached to us. Very vocal about not being within a meter of us. She loves her crate and toys and is pod about nibbling on those instead of our fingers and toes for the most part. Oh yes, we also took her to the vet on Saturday morning and he says she's in super good health.
Thanks,
Dianna

June 19th

Hi Corinne,
Things are going great. Muggles is pretty well behaved. We've started her on training and she knows when to come when we ask her and she's pretty good at staying in one place and not going anywhere until we tell her it's okay to go. It's pretty amazing to see when she's just sitting on a mat dying to get to
her food but knows she can't until we tell her she can go. :) She's such a fast learner but is pretty stubborn. Hopefully we'll be able to train her to stop sneaking to Pudding's food dish. Housebreaking is going well. We've taken her litter box away since she has a habit of playing in it after she's done doing her business. That being said, she's now going outside all the time.
No accidents.
TTYS,
Dianna

June 28th

Muggles is indeed a very good puppy. She's very good about staying in one area of our office when Ben's working and will even just stay in her crate to play with her toys whenever she goes off to work with him. Everyone we've spoken to tells us that she's going to grow out of this attachment phase. We're training her to be in her crate and be quiet when we're just on the other side of the door. So far it's going really well. She's a lot more quiet and seems a lot less stress when we're not in direct view of her. I'm bringing her to work tomorrow so this will definitely be interesting. She's used to being left alone in a room in her crate when we're at home (in preparation of her having to be left alone in my office at work when I have to run errands or go to the washroom...) but she hasn't really had to do that at my work place yet. I think it will go well. :) I can definitely see her doing what you just said that Bamm does - how he would sit there quietly if it means that he could be with you in the office. She's practically doing that already when in our home office! We're also taking her on walks. She's pretty hyper but we're
teaching her to walk beside or behind us. Usually after a few minutes of turning in the other direction whenever she starts leading us, she gets it. :)
